Sorts movie, series, and live TV lists alphabetically (A–Z) so users can find titles faster.
Press the Red Line button on the remote while viewing a list of movies or series.
The current list in the active app or section is reordered alphabetically.
Pressing the button again (where supported) toggles back to the app’s default sort order (such as by release date or popularity).
Open a content library or section that lists movies/series (e.g., NOX App).
Press the Red Line button on the remote.
Browse the alphabetically sorted list using the Arrow Keys and select items with OK/Enter.
Press the Red Line button again to restore the original sort order if the app supports toggling.
After sorting, use the first-letter jump (if the app supports it) to move quickly to titles beginning with a specific letter.
Combine with filters (genre, year) before pressing Red Line to narrow results then sort alphabetically.
If the app shows sort indicators, look for A–Z or an icon confirming alphabetical order.
App dependency: Sorting behavior depends on app implementation; some apps may ignore the Red Line input or provide different sort options.
Content dependency: Only applicable where a list of titles is present — not on home screens or single-item pages.
Toggle support: Not all apps implement a second-press toggle to revert the original sort; you may need to reselect the default sort option inside the app.
Locate titles quickly in large libraries.
Improves browsing efficiency when you know a title’s name.
Useful for alphabetical browsing and discovery.
Red Line has no effect:
Ensure you’re in a movie/series list view (not a home tile or detail page).
Check remote pairing and batteries.
Confirm the active app supports external sort commands; update the app if needed.
List doesn’t revert after pressing again:
Use the app’s sort menu to choose the original sort order.
Restart the app if the UI becomes unresponsive.
