Adds items to and opens your Favorites list so you can quickly access preferred channels, movies, or series.
Press the Favorite button on the remote while a channel, movie, or series is highlighted.
The ONYX TV Box sends the command to mark the item as a favorite or to open the Favorites section, depending on context.
Favorites are stored in the active app or system Favorites list (behavior depends on the app).
While browsing live TV or a content catalog, highlight the channel, movie, or series you want to save.
Press the Favorite button to add the highlighted item to your favorites.
To open your Favorites list, press the Favorite button again (or use the Favorites option in the app menu).
Navigate the Favorites list with the Arrow Keys and select an item with OK/Enter.
Add items from different apps—check each app’s integration to confirm favorites sync.
Use filters or sort options within the Favorites view (if available) to organize saved items.
Long-press (if supported) may open a context menu to remove items or view details.
App dependency: Some apps maintain their own favorites and may not sync with the system Favorites. Behavior varies by app and app version.
Visual feedback: Most apps will show a confirmation (icon or toast) when an item is added or removed from Favorites.
Persistence: Favorites may be tied to the signed-in account—signing out can affect saved items.

Favorite button does nothing:
Ensure the highlighted item is eligible to be favorited (some UI screens don’t support it).
Check remote pairing and batteries.
Restart the app or device.
Favorite added but not visible:
Confirm which favorites list (app vs system) the item was added to.
Sign in to the correct account if favorites are account-linked.
Update the app to latest version.
Cannot remove or edit favorites:
Open the Favorites view and use the context menu or long-press to remove items (if supported).
If unsupported, remove from within the originating app.
